Alhamdulillah, akhirnya keluarga Cik Ram & Cikgu Arif telah berjaya dgn jaya nye menyempurnakan majlis kenduri anak lelaki bongsu nye.....dan buat pertama kali nya majlis akad nikah telah di adakan di pihak lelaki - ya sesuatu yg jrg di lakukan oleh org melayu...and akad nikah kali ini di lakukkan di rumah di sebabkan Imam Rasyid nak sgt dtg umah Cikgu Arif yg agak dikenali itu...

ni semua hari jumaat - preparation days....org dtg rewang utk potong2 bawang...start masak, goreng ayam, masak daging etc...

Alhamdulillah..majlis pertunangan berjalan lancar...chronological as below..
1. Sabtu ptg: tiba Ipoh
2. Sabtu malam: Mak Bapak and adik2 tiba....malam tu Akim, Bilal, Umi pon tiba...beli durian dgn pak ngah
3. Ahad jam 900pagi: semua dah bersiap utk ke Teluk Intan. 3 kereta - Getz, Van, Accent. tiba di masjid Teluk Intan dalam jam 1030.. tunggu org2 Klang....dalam jam 11 org Klang tiba - Mak ndak satu family, Tok Taib and Tok Enal...Kemudian Halim & Jannah tiba utk pickup kami...
4. Ahad 11pagi: kami tiba...dgn semua hantaran2.....majlis pon bermula....wakil pihak lelaki was Tok Taib.....kemudian majlis makan2 and bergambar...
5. Ahad 1pm...majlis tamat and pulang ke Ipoh..

Fall Welcome Back Party: Lake Perdana
|
|
It has been two or three years since we gather together to have a good picnic near a lake.Back in Cleveland, I always waiting for a picnic at Lake Erie. It has been our tradition to have a picnic to welcome the freshmen class when fall starts. it will be either before class start or weekend after the first week of class. I hope our juniors will still hold this tradition.
with ayam and kuah kacang, doritos and cheap-carbonate drinks, I learnt how to start a bbq fire...haha..we had games and walked along the coastline....

My dream comes true. Yes...I was luckly  , my company allows me to transit to SF ( read: at my own cost for hotel and food) . My flight from Penang was in Saturday morning and I arrived at SFO after maghrib. I took a train to SF downtown. And the price..owh crap...it was soo expensive. but it was a good ride compare to Cleveland - 120th St  .....
I arrived in SF downtown, and still a lot of people around. I was amazed. it was like i'm in NYC. yeah..a lot of branded brands around. Owh but there was no sales  ...I went straight to my hostel, tolak my luggage to Hostel...yeah a cheap hostel cost me less than 20$ a nite.
Jalan2.....I nearly lost actually. then I found the hostel. staff hostel waited for me at the entrance of the small street (or hollow? or dungeon - eh camne nak eja ni?)....He said to me ' hostel'? I was reluctant at first, the I said yes..and he said he was waiting for me....isn't that great?
I was lucky enough. NO 8-ppl room available so the staff gave me 3-ppl room. But that nite I was alone. YES..meaning i dont have to worry about my belongings being stolen by unknown roommates
I went out to get food.....checkout all stores.went to GAPS, LEVI etcs..walking was like 10 min from my hostel
Early in the morning, I took a bath and straight I went to a get a hot choc. .. board a cable car..
stop at Chinatown, then off to warf-gireldi...mmg penat...then gi crooked...Pier-39...bla2..then cari Victorian houses x jumpa2..penat tol..then balk.....get my luggage and checkout..off to SFO lps zohor
